Contacts
Contacts is your business address book. Everyone your company interacts with lives here — potential customers, existing clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Contact types
- Lead — someone who has shown interest but hasn't hired you yet
- Customer — an active or past client
- Subcontractor — a trade partner or helper you work with
- Supplier — a vendor or materials source
- Other — anyone else in your network
Creating a contact
Click New Contact from the Contacts page. Fill in the name (required), phone, email, address, and type. You can also add a note about how you met them or what they need.
Linking contacts to jobs
Every job can be linked to a contact. When you create or edit a job, search for an existing contact or create a new one on the spot. This lets you see all jobs associated with a person from their contact profile.
Website leads
If you use the Website Builder, contact form submissions from your website are automatically saved here as leads — no manual entry needed. You'll also get an email notification for each new inquiry.
Using the AI to add contacts
You can add contacts by talking to the AI Assistant. Say something like:
- "Add Mike Johnson as a new lead, phone 555-9876"
- "Create a contact for Sarah Davis, she's a subcontractor, email sarah@example.com"
Searching and filtering
Use the search bar on the Contacts page to find anyone by name, email, or phone. Filter by type to see only leads, only customers, etc.
