SEO Manager
SEO Manager is a SolidifyAI skill ($49/month) that grows your local search traffic on its own. Press Go once and it finds what your local customers are actually searching for, writes genuinely useful blog articles, publishes them to your site, watches the results in Google Search Console, and keeps improving — a steady one to three quality posts a week, not a flood of filler.
It requires the Website Builder skill (it writes to your site's blog) and you enable it from the Billing page under Skills. It lives at Website Builder → SEO Manager.
Deliberately blog-first: it writes real, helpful articles rather than spammy service-and-city “location pages,” which Google's policies penalize. Durable local SEO comes from content that answers real questions, not page farms.
Standard SEO vs SEO Manager
The SEO page has two tabs:
- Standard SEO — the basics for your site: sitemap, indexing, and page meta. Set-and-forget search settings that ship with Website Builder.
- SEO Manager — the autonomous content agent described here (the paid skill).
Connect Google Search Console
SEO Manager works best when it can see your real search data. Click Connect Google Search Console and sign in with Google — it's a clean “Sign in with Google → Allow,” no unverified-app warnings.
- Auto-verification — because we render your site, we verify your property for you: no DNS records, no copy-pasting a tag. This needs your site published to a live custom domain first.
- Reconnect — if you connected a while ago and see a “reconnect” prompt, click Reconnect to grant the newer permission. It's not an error.
- Sync — SEO Manager refreshes your Search Console data automatically as it runs; you can also pull it on demand with Sync.
How it decides what to write
Every article is chosen from real demand, ranked by value, so it writes what's most likely to win:
- Striking-distance queries — searches where you already rank on page one or two (positions 8–20). These are the fastest wins, and they come from your Search Console.
- Your services and service area — the work you actually do, so topics stay relevant to your business.
- Customer questions — recurring questions from your contacts and conversations, real buyer intent no SEO tool can see.
- Search demand — local search volume and related questions to find net-new topics worth covering.
Each opportunity comes with a plain-English reason it was picked, so the queue is never a black box.
Writing and quality
For each article it writes a draft, then critiques its own work for search intent, genuine local relevance, expertise signals, and duplication before anything is published. It never invents licenses, prices, guarantees, or credentials — if an article needs a business fact it can't safely assume, it asks you (a non-blocking question) and moves on to the next opportunity rather than stalling. Weak or duplicate drafts are parked for review, not published.
Autopilot: cadence and mode
- Cadence — choose one to three posts per week. Slow-and-good is the point; volume spam gets penalized.
- Draft & notify — it writes and emails you to review and publish with one click. A good way to calibrate its voice and facts for the first couple of weeks.
- Full auto — it publishes clean drafts itself (only articles that pass the quality check with no open questions). You can switch to full auto whenever you're comfortable.
Steer it in plain English
You don't fill out forms — you just tell it, and it adjusts everything it writes next:
- Writing rules — say things like “we don't do commercial,” “always mention our 25-year warranty,” or “keep posts under 800 words,” and it turns them into durable rules applied to every future draft.
- Answer its questions — when it asks for a business fact, your answer is saved so it never asks again, and any article that was waiting on it unlocks.
- Your business — a short description of what you do so the topics and tone fit your business (useful if you're not a typical home-services contractor).
- Ask SEO Manager — a chat box to propose topics, write a specific article, or add a rule on the spot.
- Revise — after you add a rule or answer a question, hit Revise on an existing draft to re-apply it in place instead of regenerating.
Tips
- Connect Search Console first — the striking-distance data is where the fastest wins come from.
- Start in Draft & notify for a week or two to calibrate voice and facts, then graduate to full auto.
- Answer its questions as they come up — each answer permanently improves every future article.
- Publish your site to a live custom domain so auto-verification and the blog work end to end.
